Polish vocalist Magda Piskorczyk and Swedish musician Slidin’ Slim performed together at the Satyrblues Festival in Tarnobrzeg, Poland in September 2009. It was their first joint performance, preceded only with a short sound check. Magda and Slim met the evening before at the airport. In the beginning they were supposed to play only for a quarter and in duo. However...

As it is stated in "Gitarzysta" magazine 2010/01: "Their joint concert was so much liked by the audience that planned 15 minutes turned into 45 and the encore only seemed to intensify hunger for more."

The album presents 7 songs. Magda and Slim sing by turns. They both play guitars: Magda - acoustic and Slim - dobro. They are accompanied by two musicians from Magda’s band: Aleksandra Siemieniuk on electric guitar and Grzegorz Zawiliński on limited percussion set containing instruments such as a washboard and spoons. In the CD there is a video presentation of all the concert too.

Slidin’ Slim is a master of a metal guitar called dobro, a talented songwriter and singer with a strong "American" vocal. Playing his resophonic guitar he is able to enchant the audience with the spirit of old blues masters. But he is not afraid of experiments with loops and other trance electronic. In 2007 he released "One Man Riot" - album which blends modern sounds with classic blues.

Billy Gibson is a harp virtuoso, energetic frontman and excellent vocalist from Memphis. In this "Home of Blues" he is called "The Prince of Beale Street". 2009 Winner of the very prestigious distinction for bluesmen (former W.C. Handy Award) Blues Music Award Instrumentalist Of The Year - Harmonica.
He has realised one DVD and 6 CDs - two of them present his jazz fascinations and capabilities. Album "The Billy Gibson Band" was nominated to the Blues Award.

Billy Gibson and Magda Piskorczyk have met a few times: during Magda's visits in Memphis and at the Gastroblues Festival in Hungary. Each performance showed that they feel wonderful together on stage, complementing and inspiring each other. Their joint shows guarantee a double portion of boundless energy, lots of fun and the highest rank of musical craft. During this tour they will be accompanied by the members of Magda's band: Aleksandra Siemieniuk (guitars), Adam Rozenman (percussion) and Marcin Jahr or Bartek Kazek (drums).

Billy Gibson will perform in Poland and Germany for the first time. He comes to Poland at the invitation of Magda Piskorczyk. The tour, organized by Magda's Menagament, will start on August 19 and last for one month.

Two of them present Magda’s performance at the 2009 edition of the Gastroblues Festival in Hungary - songs: "I'm a Woman" and "Papa Come Quick". Magda Piskorczyk is accompanied by her band: Aleksandra Siemieniuk, Greg Zawilinski and Stan Witta.

The next film shows a classic theme: "Little Red Rooster" performed with lots of fun by Magda and her friends: Billy Gibson on harmonica (2009 Blues Award Winner) and Little G. Weevil on electric guitar. For the first time they met a few years ago at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA.

Exactly one year ago Magda appeared as a guest of another renowned harp player: Greg Zlap - in his project: „Road Movie(s)”. And from this concert you can see two songs: "Moon River" and "All of Me".
